Welcome to Catholic Truths!

What the Apostle Peter told the early Christians nearly 2000 years ago is worthy advice even today - for persons of any faith:

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15

CatholicTruths.com is our answer to this call...our lay-apostolate: Sharing the truths of the Historic Christian Faith.  We call it Ecumenical Apologetics.

We especially greet and welcome our non-Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ. Despite our differences, let us at least agree loudly and in unison that Christ is the Head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior (Eph. 5:23), and that the life of a Christian is one of Faith and serving Him.

There is so much misunderstanding between Christians of the various sorts; we truly believe that you'll find we have far more in common than we disagree about.

Regardless of the name on the door of your Church, we welcome you and challenge you to learn about the truths and realities of the Historic Christian Faith.

If "Because I was taught that way since I was a child", or "I just feel in my heart, this is the truth" is the best answer you have to why you believe what you believe, then you don't have a reason for why you believe what you do.

Stay tuned.  This is a work in progress: more articles will continue to be added.

Update March, 2009: I'm finally "trying out" the blog thing.  Check it out here. Over the next few months I'll be working on the best way do do this site with both a blog and a forum...so please bear with any reduncancies. Thanks :)
